Last year in October, I was part of a fall-inspired wedding styling workshop hosted by Portfolio Bootcamp.
We had just moved to Amsterdam from Abu Dhabi, and I was so excited about this shoot! For me, this was an opportunity to meet like-minded creatives, learn new styling tricks, and get more insight into the Dutch wedding industry. Plus, the inspiration board for this fall-inspired wedding shoot was gorgeous and I couldn’t wait to help create that vision!
To create a fall ambiance, we used darker warm shades of red and burgundy, incorporate organic materials such as a linen table runner, linen napkins, and wooden placemats. In addition, we used pomegranates as part of the table decoration and chose golden candlesticks, golden cutlery and added leaves and tree branches that we found around us. The floral centerpiece and the wedding bouquet used seasonal flowers in rich and warm colors.
Nailia from BEST DAY EVER Events and her team from the Portfolio Bootcamp, organized everything so beautifully and all the lovely people that were involved made this shoot come together just perfectly!
I’ve been super excited to share my favorite pictures, so I hope you enjoy them 🙂
Love, Michaela
